Empower.

You are not alone

Homes are places filled with love. They are the foundation on which our society is built, so we say. Yet, behind closed doors, our families are being torn apart by violence. The privacy that protects the family also hides the pain, the suffering and terror of violence against the victims. Domestic violence affects us all! It’s not a shame, it’s a crime! We all have a responsibility to find our own ways of helping to build better non-violent communities.

“To develop domestic violence awareness through community education and to promote empowerment for victims and families by developing a system for effective communication and facilitation of change.”

Anson County domestic violence coalition (ACDVC) was incorporated in March of 1998. Since then our overall mission is to provide a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental atmosphere for victims and survivors of domestic violence, family violence, and sexual assault where they can disclose and receive the services they so desperately need.
